Weddings At Lakewood UMC
We have a beautiful Sanctuary and an excellent Family Life Center to accommodate weddings and receptions up to approximately 375 persons. Please e-mail us for our wedding policy and fee schedule. We do not discriminate on any basis, including sexual orientation. All couples have the same access to our facilities and pastor, and we will celebrate, encourage, and support all who want to marry in our church.
The rental fee for our Sanctuary is $950.00 for non-members. The Fellowship Hall and Kitchen can be rented for an additional $450. We can also arrange for a minister, organist, soloists, and caterer if desired.
Outdoor Events
Your organization can hold an outdoor event such as a car wash, fun run, concert, or other event in our parking area and adjacent garden and yard. Please e-mail the church office for a Building Use Policy and to discuss your specific needs.
Some events may require that you obtain a permit from the City of Dallas.
Meetings, Birthday Parties, and Other Events
You can host a wonderful birthday party, anniversary celebration, family reunion, or reception at our church. We have a Fellowship Hall that can accommodate up to 200 people, a kitchen, a beautiful garden, and a playground, and our fees are affordable. Our parking area is just steps from our Family Life Center.
We can also accommodate retirement parties, musical performances, meetings and other events. Stages and PA and sound systems are available for use. Some stage and sound system arrangements may require a set-up fee. Please e-mail us to arrange for a meeting to discuss your specific needs.
