Lakewood UMC is a community of people connected to each other and our neighborhood by the love of God. We believe that God calls us into an authentic sense of belonging built on sharing that love through open hearts, open minds, and open doors. We affirm that all people are created in the image of God and, as beloved children of God, are worthy of God's love and grace. If you are looking for a church home, we hope you will visit us. We have a traditional style service at 10:30 on Sunday mornings and a Messy Church service for children and families at 5pm on Sunday evenings. We are located at 2443 Abrams (between Lakeshore and Palo Pinto). Parking is in the back. Even if you are not looking for a church home, we hope you will come by and introduce yourself as a neighbor.
