Special Advent and Christmas Events

Sunday, December 7

  • Christmas Cantata - 10:15 A.M. - Christmas Lessons and Carols, performed with orchestra

  • Christmas Store Open - It will be a great time to purchase some wonderful handmade Christmas gifts.  The Store will be open after our 10:15 A.M. Worship Service.

Sunday, December 14

  • Breakfast - 8:00 a.m. - This is Marathon Sunday, so the church will be offering a continental Breakfast at 8 A.M. for those wishing to come early to avoid the closing of streets for the runners.
  • Worship Service - 10:15 A.M.
  • Light Lunch - 11:30 A.M.
  • Wrapping of Gift Boxes for the Homeless - After lunch

Sunday, December 21

  • Worship Service - 10:15 a.m.
  • Christmas Recital - 3:00 p.m. - Sanctuary

Wednesday, December 24 - Christmas Eve

  • Christmas Eve Candlelight and Communion Service - 5:30 p.m.

Thursday, December 25 - Christmas Day

  • Christmas Dinner - The Estee family will again be hosting a Christmas Day lunch for anyone interested in joining them here at the church.  The time and details will be announced at a later time.

United Methodist Women - Tuesday, December 9

  • On Tuesday, December 9, the Wesleyan Guild will hold it's potluck at 6:30 p.m., followed by a program.
  • Equal Exchange/Fair Trade coffee, teas and chocolates will be available for sale after church by the Library on December 14.

 

Many thanks to all the volunteers who stayed after lunch last Sunday to decorate the church for Advent / Christmas.
