Ash Wednesday Worship
Please join us for a 30 minute Ash Wednesday service on February 26 at 7:00 p.m. This will be a service of prayer and reflection where you can receive ashes and prepare your heart for the season of Lent, the 40 days leading up to Easter.
Dementia Friendly Dallas Survey
Dementia Friendly Dallas is a new branch of Dementia Friendly America. They are in the information gathering stage of their organization and need as much input from the Dallas community as possible to form their priorities and goals going forward. If you have a moment, please fill out their survey at dfdallas.org. It takes about 10 minutes, including thinking time.
Dallas County is hiring poll workers!
If you would like to help your fellow voters on Super Tuesday, March 3, Dallas County needs you! You must be available to work a minimum of 12 hours on March 3 ($15/hr, $15.50/hr if bilingual English/Spanish) and attend a paid training prior to March 3. You would be responsible for greeting and helping voters and/or verifying the eligibility of potential voters. Spanish speaers would translate when necessary. To apply, call 817-469-6234.
