Easter Baptism

Thank you to all who attended our Easter worship service! We were blessed to have so many neighbors filling our pews this past Sunday. We were also blessed to witness the baptism of Mary Bruster, daughter of our members Adam and Nikki Bruster. Here she is with Rev. Dr. Gayle Landis and her parents (as you can see, she is having trouble containing her excitement).

Amigos Days

For over a decade, LUMC has participated in Amigos Days. Alongside other area Methodist churches, we paint and make minor repairs to the homes of people who are elderly or disabled who cannot afford the repairs. The volunteers for this program have painted and repaired over 400 homes. We need volunteers to: help with the work (no skill required) and to provide drinks and snacks. If you are interested in helping out, contact Eva at office@mylakewoodchurch.org.

The Lakewood Legacy

Our Intern in Ministry, Kathy Nations, has been hard at work creating a timeline of Lakewood's history as part of our 90th anniversary celebration this year! Come see the timeline in our Family Life Center and learn all about Lakewood through the years.
