The 12th Annual Lakewood Summer Arts Faire will be held at Lakewood United Methodist Church. on Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13, 2015.  Over 20 artists will bring original works, including paintings, photography, hand-crafted jewelry, mix-media, metal, glass, fine woodworking and more!

Proceeds benefit local charities.

Please join us after worship services on Sunday, May 31 for a luncheon of hot dogs and ice cream sundaes, followed by the singing of your favorite hymns!

On both May 14, 2015 and May 15, 2015, the workshop will begin at 9:00 a.m.  We are not sure of the ending time each day for this event.

On Sunday, April 12, we will celebrate our decision to become a Reconciling Congregation by gathering for a potluck supper celebration at 6:00 p.m.  We will be joined by members of other reconciling United Methodist Congregations in the area.  All are welcome to the potluck, and to our church!!

On Sunday, November 14, we will enjoy a light lunch after worship service.  Following lunch, we will stay to wrap shoe boxes, and will fill them with goodies to provide a practical Christmas gift to the homeless in Dallas.  November 14 is the day of the marathon in Dallas, so it's a great choice to stay at the church and join us in this mission project.

To celebrate "Marathon Sunday," breakfast will be served in Fellowship Hall on Sunday, December 14.  This is a good day to arrive early, avoid being blocked by the marathon runners, and enjoy breakfast with friends.
