Lakewood UMC is hosting a prayer vigil in our sanctuary on Saturday, June 20th in honor and remembrance of the victims of the terrorist act that occurred at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC.
We will gather in prayer at 7 PM and we invite all who feel burdened by this grave injustice to join us.
We will be praying for peace for the friends, families and communities affected, for guidance for our leaders and for healing for our nation's continuing racial division.
